SOKOLLAB REOPENING 27TH JUNE 2020

Dear Friends,

We are excited to announce that SOKOLLAB will be reopening its doors again from Saturday 27th June!

It's been a long 3 months, and we are grateful to everyone who has sent us messages of support, supported us through our online store and worked hard to get us through some really tough times.  Thank you!  We've loved seeing your new albums on IG and Twitter, and growing the online store with you!

 

After considering the safety of our staff and customers in line with government guidance, we now feel ready to welcome you back in store.   There will be a few changes to help us keep everyone safe.  Here are the new hygiene and safety measures we will be taking to help you plan a visit:

 

OPENING HOURS

To start with we'll just be open for weekends

Saturday 12-6pm

Sunday 12-5pm 

Updated hours (06/10/20): 

We are now also open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays 12-5pm

 

SOCIAL DISTANCING

We ask everyone to keep to a 2 metre distance where possible in store, and follow the entrance / exit one way signs.

 

HYGIENE STATION

We'll provide hand gel and disposable gloves at the store entrance so you can sanitise easily.

LIMITING THE NUMBER OF CUSTOMERS

We may impose limits on the number of customers in store to help maintain social distancing.

 

SCREENS AND FACE COVERINGS

We will have a new screen at the till and provide face coverings for staff to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.

CARD PAYMENTS ONLY

Please support us by using card payment only or Google/Apple Pay.  We will be unable to accept cash payments, and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.  However we believe this will help reduce risk for our staff and customers.

Update 26/08/20:

We are accepting cash payments on Sunday and Tuesdays only.  Where possible, please continue to use card/ contactless methods of payment.

 

"QUARANTINED" GOODS

If you handle any items in store and decide not to purchase them, please bring them to a member of staff at the till area where we will have a basket to collect items for sanitising before they are returned to the shop floor for sale.

 

OUR SEATING AREA WILL BE CLOSED

Sadly our seating area on the mezzanine will be closed as we cannot host any gatherings.

 

BEAUTY TESTERS ARE SUSPENDED

Sorry, we won't be able to provide our usual testers for any beauty products but we will still be retailing a reduced selection of beauty in store.

 

PICK UP FROM STORE OPTION - SUSPENDED

We are not supporting new "Pick Up From Store" orders at this time.  For those who already have an outstanding "Pick Up From Store" order, your item will be available for pick up starting from June 27th.

 

PLEASE DO NOT VISIT IF YOU ARE SHOWING ANY OF THE CORONAVIRUS SYMPTOMS

We kindly request you to refrain from visiting if you are showing any of the symptoms for coronavirus and to follow government guidelines on isolating as necessary.

 

Thank you for helping us to keep each other safer, and we look forward to seeing you again soon!  For those who prefer to shop online we will be continuing the online store as well.
